Since July 2010, 14 million people have been affected by record-breaking floods in Pakistan – the worst in 80 years. Floods in Pakistan have affected more people than those displaced in the 2005 Asian Tsunami and the deadly earthquakes in South Asia and Haiti combined (United Nations, 2010). We have the responsibility to offer a helping hand.
Millions are homeless and have no drinking water, food or medical supplies. The Sanitary conditions, as a consequence of the floods, have deteriorated and serious diseases are an imminent threat. Due to standing water there is a rapid production of mosquitoes, abdominal disease, fever, skin diseases and malaria.
Planeta Feliz partnered with AHD, Association for Humanitarian Development, to assist the victims of these devastating floods. Together, the organizations will provide immediate assistance to 30,000 people with ‘Nadi’ water filters and mosquito nets.
Many of us want to help and make a difference. Lets unite and work together towards a PAKISTAN FELIZ.

Nobody can do everything, but everyone can do something.
